Dates & Notes

• There will be no children at school on Friday this week due to teacher inset training.
• Individual school photos will be taken on Thursday this week.
• Also on Thursday, we will be having class reward time in the afternoon. Children may bring a special snack to have during our reward time.

Reading

Please remind children to bring their reading records with them to school every day. Our goal is to have everyone in Kestrel class reading at least 5 times each week. Reading records will be checked and books will be changed on Fridays, but it is important that children have their records each day so that reading in school can be recorded.

Touch Typing

In their reading records, children have been sent home with a login for EdClub, a free website for improving touch typing skills. We will be practising touch typing in all of our computing lessons this half-term. Children can also follow the link below and use their username and password to keep up the progress at home.
