Please note that Friday the 25th is the trip to Norwich castle. The start of the day is normal and we should be back in time for normal home time.

Homework

            The spellings for this week are:

touch, double, country, trouble, young, cousin, enough, couple, encourage, flourish

For maths, please practise number bonds within 20 with your child. This means any addition and subtraction where the answer is 20 or less.

Please start with calculations under 10, for example: 3 + 4, 8-2, 2+7 etc.

Children will make better progress in maths if they can confidently answer these questions without using fingers or counting one at a time.

A good tool to do this is on the Topmarks website. Choose the number bonds game and choose addition within 10 or 20.
