We read the story 'Daisy Eat Your Peas!' The children thought this story was very funny and enjoyed joining in with the repeated phrases. Mr. Garlinge wished he could own a chocolate factory! We then talked about healthy foods and different food types. We decided to design, make and then eat our own salads. Some children were surprised at actually enjoying some of the foods they tried, whilst others were brave to try something, but were not so impressed with the taste.
