Exploring Spring

Spring has finally sprung and we have loved looking at all the signs of Spring in our wonderful 'Nursery Garden' . The children have been searching for mini-bugs and ladybirds which has provided lots of opportunities to count. We have also observed the buds forming on the trees and flowers and talked about new beginnings. We have done close observational painting of daffodils and primroses and discussed rainbows and how they are created. The children have loved playing outside for hours in our mud kitchen, new sandpit and climbing area, reading books about growing and constructing obstacle courses to enjoy together. How lucky to have so much space to explore!
