Six Bricks! Maths Parent Cafe

On Tuesday 4th February we welcomed Year 1 parents / carers into the classroom to join us for a Math's Cafe. The theme for this event was the use of LEGO to develop an awareness of spatial reasoning. Children and parents worked collaboratively to explore some of the ways in which LEGO can be used to develop mathematical language, problem-solving skills and cooperative learning habits.
