Reading - Please remind children to bring their reading records with them to school every day. Our goal is to have everyone in Lapwing class reading at least 5 times each week and fill our records with gold stars! Reading records will be checked and books will be changed on a Monday, but it is important that children have their books each day so that adults can record their reading at school.

Spelling - This week we have been learning to spell words ending in  'cian'. The test will be on the Friday 24th April 2026. 

 

 This week I would like the class to focus on the spellings reluctantly, bravely, except, weather and invisible.

Timestables - Please continue to practice your timestables through TTRS (if you have any issues logging in please contact me :)

Hit the Button - Quick fire maths practise for 6-11 year olds

The class were excited to create folded paper timetable aids with numbered tabs, which they were encouraged to take home to help them practise.
