Every Day Matters right from the first day in Reception.

When children are absent from school they miss learning opportunities across all areas of their development, resulting in gaps in their social and emotional wellbeing and knowledge and understanding. We at Wicklewood Primary School place a high priority on children acquiring a sense of commitment towards regular attendance at school.

Our focus at Wicklewood Primary School will always be to work in partnership with families in order to achieve success for all and to enable children to reach their full potential. We recognise that navigating the many factors that impact attendance can be difficult, and our Pastoral Team are here to help.
