Wymondham’s local schools are working together to provide emergency childcare over the Easter holidays for the children of approved key workers who are involved in the front-line response to the Covid 19 crisis.

Places have been arranged for eligible Wicklewood children at Robert Kett Primary School’s ‘Extra Time’ club.  If, during the holiday, you need to contact the childcare service (ie shift changes for emergency workers or redeployment that means you now need urgent access) please call the Robert Kett Primary School office on 01953 603405, Wicklewood Primary School and Nursery on 01953 602333 (the telephone line is being diverted) or email head@wicklewood.norfolk.sch.uk.

Welcome to our School

Ofsted Outstanding School 2014-15I am delighted to welcome you to our school and website and want to ensure that you are as fully informed as possible about your children's school and the provision it offers.

As a Primary, Nursery, and Extended School, we are open to children from the ages of 2 through to 11. All children are encouraged and supported to ‘be the best they can be’ and families are highly valued as partners in their children’s education. We are passionate about ensuring that every child matters. Our curriculum is innovative and exciting. We are delighted with what our pupils achieve and we are proud of all the different learning opportunities our children take part in to help them to become ‘the best they can be’, academically, personally, morally and socially. We strive to treat children with care, compassion, dignity and respect so that they in turn become responsible citizens in their communities and the wider world. We care about what they think and through the School Council encourage them to have a voice and share in decision making. The importance of values is a priority for us.

hi_big_e_min_pink"This is an outstanding school. It offers a wide range of activities in a nurturing and caring environment. As a result, pupils achieve exceptionally well both academically and personally. They develop into confident young people who have a desire to learn and take responsibility for themselves" (OFSTED 2015)

We want to work in partnership with you and offer various opportunities for you to come into school so that you are well informed about your children's progress and well-being. We look forward to working with you and welcoming you to our community.

We hope that you will find all the information that you need on this website, but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call, and we will be pleased to help in any way we can. If you would like a paper copy of the information on this website please ask.

Kind regards, Julia Brooks (Headteacher)
