and the winner is...
On June 19th @ 2pm we will be taking part in the VBS-2020 in partnership with Charanga, NYMAZ, a youth music development charity, Mark De-Lisser and some well-known artists from across the world.
The resources can only be accessed via Charanga. Every household will be given a log in so they can learn the songs and dance routines at home.
The concert on the 19th June is designed to be accessed by either pupils who are in school or for families who are home-schooling.
Welcome to our School
As a Primary, Nursery, and Extended School, we are open to children from the ages of 2 through to 11. All children are encouraged and supported to ‘be the best they can be’ and families are highly valued as partners in their children’s education. We are passionate about ensuring that every child matters. Our curriculum is innovative and exciting. We are delighted with what our pupils achieve and we are proud of all the different learning opportunities our children take part in to help them to become ‘the best they can be’, academically, personally, morally and socially. We strive to treat children with care, compassion, dignity and respect so that they in turn become responsible citizens in their communities and the wider world. We care about what they think and through the School Council encourage them to have a voice and share in decision making. The importance of values is a priority for us.
"This is an outstanding school. It offers a wide range of activities in a nurturing and caring environment. As a result, pupils achieve exceptionally well both academically and personally. They develop into confident young people who have a desire to learn and take responsibility for themselves" (OFSTED 2015)
We want to work in partnership with you and offer various opportunities for you to come into school so that you are well informed about your children's progress and well-being. We look forward to working with you and welcoming you to our community.
We hope that you will find all the information that you need on this website, but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call, and we will be pleased to help in any way we can. If you would like a paper copy of the information on this website please ask.
Kind regards, Julia Brooks (Headteacher)

“I have been really impressed with the hardworking, thoughtful and kind attitude of the children at the school. There is a great sense of community between parents and teachers, other staff and children which makes Wicklewood a fantastic place to teach and learn."
