Hello Marvelous Swift Class!
Wow lots of amazing work on Purple Mash, I have enjoyed looking at it all. Thank you for all of your Great Fire of London work, the fire pictures were super! Don’t forget to hand in you work or save it. I add little comments and stickers to your finished work which you can read. Your work is stored in your ‘Done 2dos folder’.
From Miss Harvey 😊

Please access the ‘Read Write Inc Phonics Lessons at Home Page’ on YouTube at
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ/featured for a daily phonics lesson.

I would like you to practise adding the suffix -ness to create nouns.
Here are the spellings to practise this: kind, kindness, sad, sadness, good, goodness, weak, weakness, foolish, foolishness, dark, darkness
If you need a little bit more help watch ‘Adding suffixes –ness and -er to make nouns’ video on espresso.
Practise writing your spellings down using a pencil or outdoors! Can you use each of your spellings in a sentence? Don’t forget capital letter and punctuation.
See separate activities to practise multiplication and division. This includes a reminder, two levels of practice sheet (write answers in home school sharing book, exercise book or a notebook), guidance if you get a bit stuck and a few questions to check your understanding. All the answers are provided so that you can ‘tick or fix’ your work with an adult.
