Wren Class wc 29th June

Week Beginning: 29th June 2020

Hello Wonderful Wrens,

What a hot week it was last week. I hope you all had your paddling pools out and you could cool down in the shade!

We hope you enjoyed Supertato. We loved seeing all the new Supertatoes that you created … they were all different and all super! What amazing adventures they all had too!

This week we are doing another traditional tale. It may be one that you are less sure of. If you have your own copies of ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ at home, make sure you read it together with your family to see if your version differs from the one you watch on Monday.

Take care and have fun.

Mrs Leaford and Mrs Nixon 😊

Look at the maths word problems worksheet (at the bottom of the page). Try to complete 1 question a day. Follow the steps below to solve the problem.

  1. Ask a grown up to read the word problem to you.
  2. Decide whether this is a grouping or sharing word problem
  3. Draw a circle around the numbers you will be grouping or sharing
  4. Work out the answer. You may need to use objects from around the house to help you. Buttons or dried pieces of pasta will work fine!

Once you have tested it, put your bridge on Tapestry. I hope it was strong!
