Swift Class w/c 11th May

Hello Remarkable Swifts,

I hope you had fun celebrating VE day over the weekend.

Every Monday I will set your phonics, English and maths work for the week. I have broken it down into what to do each day to make it more manageable. All the resources you need will be at the bottom of this webpage. Don’t forget to look at the ‘family challenge’ activities on the website as well. The maths and English activities are the most important things for you to complete, but you may enjoy one (or more) of the family challenges.

I hope you are safe and well
From Miss Harvey 🙂

We are going to look at instructions again this week but looking at a different type of instruction… recipes! Let’s look at some witches making a love potion, https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zkgcwmn/articles/zfrcmfr then play the quiz.

You have already created a title, a list of ingredients and a list of equipment. Now you need to write the method (the part that tells people what to do).

Planning task: Draw six pictures of how to make you potion. Then add a sentence to go with each picture. Say your sentence aloud and remember to make it bossy!
