English

See the separate activities based around the poem ‘Make a Face’ by Tony Mitton which includes sharing a poem, exploring faces and moods, finding rhymes, writing a new version of the poem and some extension activities.

I appreciate that not everyone will have access to a printer so you may want to record your work in your home school sharing book, an exercise book or a notebook.

Adults may need to help create a writing frame in your books and support some children in finding rhyming words. In class, we have talked about rhyming words in poems often being at the end of each line but this is not the case for this poem!

When writing remember to think it, say it, like it, write it and read it again.

Choose your writing peak challenge below.

Maths

See separate maths activities to practise finding ten more or ten less. This includes a learning reminder, two levels of practice sheet, guidance if you get a bit stuck and a few questions to check your understanding. All the answers are provided so that you can ‘tick or fix’ your work with an adult.

If you have no access to a printer at home, write answers in home school sharing book, exercise book or a notebook.

This activity can be practised further by playing Mummy Numberlines at https://www.ictgames.com/mobilePage/egyptian/ and selecting ‘adding 10’ option.

P.E.

Make sure you are suitably dressed and have enough space for all the PE activities.

Online Safety

Following on from last week’s Online Safety Home Learning please see separate online safety activities about sharing pictures. We have previously looked at this issue as part of Safer Internet Day in February.

Stay safe, healthy and happy 😊 – more learning activities will be posted tomorrow.
